"It is a decent Japanese restaurant. We tried different foods and all was decent. As a conclusion, I would suggest to stick to sushi, they are doing good sushi"

"Nice and cosy restaurant. We visited during a rainy lunch time, so it was not buzzing as it usually does. Still, a most pleasant atmosphere. Service was great. Food was very nice also. Salmon don buried was delicate yet tasty. Pork katsu looked scrumptious. Husband didn't let me try it, so I can say it was good! Portion sizes were pretty spot on."

"In the mood for Japanese food? How about Korean food? Does sushi strike your fancy? If so, then you're in luck! Haru Japanese offers all of these in a light and bright location. Check out the flower-covered ceiling! An added bonus is that it's located right across the street from the Artamon station. The Teriyaki Bento Box was delicious, with beef, seaweed, tofu, a generous portion of rice, a prawn, spring roll, potsticker and a salad. The Vegetable Bibimbap was served sizzling with a side of rice. It could have used a bit of sesame oil, but a dash of soy sauce and a generous squirt of hot sauce spiffed it right up! (A word of caution for vegetarians though: Make sure to confirm that the plate of side items accompanying the bibimbap are indeed vegetarian, as we failed to do that and bit into a delicious-looking item that we thought was tofu, but turned out to be some type of very fishy fish...). The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were reasonable ($45 AUD for our two mains). Artamon isn't known as a culinary hot spot, but a visit to Haru Japanese should spice things up!"

"One of the cutest hidden gem in sydney. Been to many Japanese restaurants, this place has whole different vibe. Menu is so curated and satisfies all sort of taste buds. My go-to pickup would be their bento box which comes with salad and next level sashimi. Their version of tempura is unique which i guess because of the quality in oil they use. Spicy honey chicken is one such good recommendation for spicy lovers."

"I eat here regularly. The owner is a lovely person and her sons help out when they get a break from their studies. I admit I eat the same thing regularly so haven’t sampled the entire menu. But what I eat is fantastic and the price point is excellent."
